The Seattle Seahawks announced they have capped their season ticket sales at 61,000 for 2006, the highest ticket sales in franchise history. The team is leaving 6,000 seats available for individual game sales beginning July 29.
In past years, Seahawks season ticket sales were abysmal. At a home Seahawks-Packers game several years ago, Mike Holmgren was incensed there were literally more Packer fans than Seahawk fans in the stadium.
