Find in the attached website an inspiring story of a tame lion who was returned to the wild in Africa. He not only survived but he thrived. In addition, he still fondly remembered his caregivers.
A couple got hold of a lion cub and began raising it. After it became full grown, they realized it needed to be introduced to the wilds. They were pleasantly surprised by the results:
