One could say that. The Brewers got swept by the Cubs and McCarthy canceled the presser.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go ride my black horse and spread famine throughout the earth.

At least you didn't get Tramon injured like falco did.

Actually, the pack site says "McCarthy will address the media on Tuesday, most likely before the team takes the field for a 2:00 p.m. practice."

I would take that it would be more like 1 - 1:30ish :?:

Just wait, with my luck I'll end up getting Ruvell a torn ACL.

According to the JSO Blog (http://blogs.jsonline.com/packers/archive/2008/08/05/favre-s-status-at-practice-up-in-the-air.aspx) five hours of meetings between Favre and McCarthy haven't really cleared the air much. Quoth the linked article:

.It's unclear what McCarthy will say when he meets with reporters Tuesday, but it is known the two sides left the meeting without any known resolution to their differences and were expected to weigh their options overnight.

So tomorrow's press conference might be interesting, as Favre doesn't appear to have convinced McCarthy to give him a shot at the #1 role.

So this might be very interesting, particularly if McCarthy stops taking the high road and makes some of his grievances with Favre public (though I don't see him doing that). It's also interesting if neither Brett nor Mike are morning people and there's no more resolution tomorrow than there is today (which is not unlikely.)

i feel terrible about it, although I'm not sure if I'm too blame - I need to look back at Bretsky's post around that time frame...if he mentioned Tramon38 at all, then it may be his fault...
