It was just about two months ago (May, I think) that we had several threads in which we smuggly proclaimed the Packers to be the most bring off-season team in the NFL. Nothing to discuss, nothing to argue about. No arrests, disputes or player complaints. The team was on an even course with no conflicts, (other than Grant, and what choice did he have?).

Yup, we the fans, spit in the face of fate and it is getting back at us!

I say we should have seen this coming...

All along Favre was dropping little hinters...

There was one great quote by a poster on this forum...

I forgot how it exactly went but it went something like this "When week 1 starts and Brett Favre is not under center for an NFL team then I will truly believe he is retired"

I for one did not think Brett Favre was going to go out like that and just be quiet in retirement... Its Brett Favre...
