Think about Jets vs. Bucs.

Do another 4-12 turnaround or go to a division title?
He's older than the HC, OC, and QB coach for NYJ!
Tough division

NYJ makes no sense...

TB ALL THE WAY... He would get to play GB again, potentially embarrass T.T. in the playoffs...

NYJ has the pats in their division...

TB has no clear winner in their division...

But then again its Favre, his logic boggles my mind...

NO ONE, repeat NO ONE will touch him if he doesn't report to the Jets.

He will be radioactive beyond belief if he backs out.

Is that a bad thing? He stays retired.

Lots of places say Jets are better fit and predict 11-5 (weak NFCW, Dolphins twice).

At this point, if he doesn't report or pass the physical, I believe the Pack would seek any trade with Tampa Bay.

I think there's an integrity issue, though. Per "Bus" Cook, Brett agreed to playing for either team while negotiations were taking place. I don't think words like "integrity," "legacy," or "gentlemen's agreement" mean a whole lot compared against contract terms, but Brett's name would be M-U-D if he walked out of the trade.

If that happened, his reputation would be radioactive. Brett would be signed, but he would likely be a complete recluse, even to the media. He'd never stop getting asked about the ex-trade.

Both NFL Network and ESPN are confirming that Favre said he will report to New York. Done deal.
