A Jets player told Newsday that the locker room is "hardly unanimous" in its support of dumping Chad Pennington for Brett Favre.

A "significant portion" of the roster was reportedly against the move, and we're guessing that longtime Pennington supporter Laveranues Coles is in that group. According to Profootballtalk, there are even rumors that Coles left the team hotel in Cleveland after hearing the news. He did return later on.

He left, then returned. I think he has learned a lesson from Favre already.

Wouldn't that be:

Leave the hotel saying you were done.
Call management saying you may return to the hotel.
Call management back and say fuck that, my bed is too small, I'm leaving.
Hint on TV that the bed may gave given you an itch.
Ask a former player/friend (Keyshawn) if the hotel staff asked about you since you left?
Call management saying you want to return to your room.
Ask management to move you to new hotel.
Tell management you are above returning to your room.
Tell management that you are willing to arm-wrestle the current resident in the room for room privelages.
Agree with management that maybe this hotel is not for you.
Agree to move into a shitty motel to prove your point that the hotel is not for you or management.
