Given the similarity of the Viking's and Packer's offense and....
given the lack of experience the Pack has at QB and....
given the fact that Brooks Bollinger will probably lose a roster spot to JD Booty...
Do you think there is a chance Brooks Bollinger could be on the Packers roster at the beginning of the season?

1. Similarities in offenses? Me thinks not so much.
2. Brooks Bollinger may have more experience than a rookie QB, but not much.
3. I doubt we waste time on QB that can't beat out the likes of T. Jack and Booty.

Brooks should have a throwing distance contest with Pennington.
Maybe they can compete in the Punt, Pass and Kick competition.

I would pay to see that, and possibly compete.

1. Very similar WCO's. According to Mooch (during the Favre drama) the Pack and Vikes even have similar terminology.
2. True.
3. Watch what you say about T Jack, he may have you eating your words. One could argue he looked even better than Rodgers in their last games.

Bollinger could get concussed with the best of them.

One could also argue that his crappy play kept the Vikes out of the playoffs last year. The Vikes should have a good team this year, despite the anchor that is T Jack.

Yes.....LAST YEAR. He is capable, like every player in the NFL, of improving. I can tell you from watching him in his last game that he is a better QB NOW than he was LAST YEAR.

I've had to hear about how good the Vikings were going to be and how bad the Packers were going to be the last several offseasons, yet since the NFC Championship game in 2000:
2001 - Packers: 12-4; Vikings 5-11
2002 - Packers: 12-4; Vikings 6-10
2003 - Packers: 10-6; Vikings 9-7
2004 - Packers: 10-6; Vikings 8-8
2005 - Vikings: 9-7; Packers: 4-12
2006 - Packers: 8-8; Vikings 6-10
2007 - Packers: 13-3; Vikings 8-8
Now, you can see why I'm skeptical about how great the Vikings will be.

Lombardi trophies? Oh yeah - definitely.
They're pretty much the only way to legitimize a NFL franchise. Someday maybe your grandchildren will get to enjoy one.

True, but they were recently re-designed by Richard Simmons.

Makes perfect sense, and helps explain where Chilly got his training camp theme this year - "Sweating To The 2 A Days".

The Vikings get their toughness from this guy:

If I didn't know who he was, I'd guess he was a math teacher or a mortician.

He's not a very intimidating sideline presence, unless the words "pop quiz" strike the fear of God into you.

Worked for Chucky and company in Tampa. They got rid of the flamboyant uniforms, and the mild mannered coach. Bingo - Superbowl.
On the plus side, Chilly's forehead does remind me a little bit of Nitschke.

They got rid of the old unis before chucky.
You and i have a diff view...chucky came in and won with dungy's players..and boom...worked them into mediocrity.
Chucky is hardly intimidating. No coach really is....any one of those players could beat the living daylights out of them.

Phil Simms says that all but 2 coaches in the league coach through intimidation - the exceptions being Tony and Lovee. I'm going to side with Phil on this one.

I thought you meant to the other team.
But, even so...that intimidation doesn't come from looks..it is from the mouth, brain, etc.
Parcells was a master of that type of intimidation.
