Not a very good running back, decent out of the I formation but this is the NFL and the Pro formation with split backfield.

Loved him at Minnesota.
Thanks for the thread. I was wondering when one of these was going to pop up. Way to come through ... you were a great candidate.
Anyone got any Thompson pics? What's he doin' now?
Dude was an absolute stud in HS, but our coach was a worthless shitbag. Ran a power I and wing T against these huge d-lines from MPLS and StPaul. Got crushed once state rolled around.

A very young and hyper Packer QB #4 tackled DT in the endzone after a touchdown - Jim Irwin went nuts on the radio. It's been replayed a bunch - great highlight

Lot of potential with this idea
The Official Eric Torkelson thread
The Official Terdell Middleton thread
How about the Official Paul Ott Carruth thread
Ahh the 70s and 80s

Parallel Darrell. Too bad it was parallel with the line of scrimmage and not the sideline.

I still remember Thompson getting crushed on the goal line vs. KC and fumbling the ball. GB lost the ball at the KC 1 and subsequently the game. I think Anthony Dilweg was the QB. I don't miss those days.
I am THIS close to starting an official thread to either Robert Brown, Tim Harris, Tony Bennett or Gabe Wilkins. James Lofton? Chuck Cecil? What about Brent Fullwood or Tony Mandarich?
So many choices...I can't decide.
Eh...just don't have the energy today.
I always thought Paul Ott Carruth was kind of a kooky name. If you say it out loud slowly it sounds like Frankenstein-speak.
