Ok kids, here's the deal. I just sold my house about a half hour ago here in shitty Minnesota. On Monday, I will be back in the land of the Beer, the bratwurst, the cheese curd, the Badger, the Buck, the Brewer, and the motherfuckin Packers! I am all out of beer, so I'm drinking red wine. The wife is out of town, so I'm drinkin alone, and dammit I need a drinkin buddy. So grab a glass, and I'll fill it up. It's time to celebrate cause the Murphman is comin back to the promised land.

P.S.- if I pass out on the keyboard later, and all you see is the same letter typed over and over again, call the authorities.

I don't have any beer or wine, will English Hard Cider do? Congrats. These people don't have any clue what's been happening at that house over the course of your living in it do they?

I'm with ya murph, just got off the tractor cutting the back forty, and have been drinking since I got home and hopped on the J.D.

I've gotta go work out and lose some of my beer belly - at which time I'll come home and replenish the loss plus some...

I think he has to put that on the seller's disclosure

A drink for the lady. If your talkin about the sweet, sweet love my wife and I make, then no they probably don't know. How could they even imagine that soart of passion?
This thread is not about sex though, it's about coming home to the state I love, we all love. It's about turning on the radio, and hearing Packer news, instead of Viking news. It's about catching a Brewer game on a Saturday night, or a Badger game on Saturday morning. It's about tailgating at Lambeau, Miller Park, Camp Randall. It's about buying beer on Sundays, in the liquor store, the grocery store, or the gas station. It's about coming home. Here's to me, and here's to Wisconsin. And here's to me moving back to Wisconsin.

thanks murph, they have been up for the past hour or so, and those cold ones have been going down very easy. as a matter of fact, i'm in need of another. I can't wait for my son to grow up a little so he can fetch me a fresh beer when needed.

Ponytail tried to talk us into lowering the price about a week ago, and we said no. That gamble paid off. But he sold our house so, I'll have another drink.

Did you run your fingers through his hair in celebration?

No, I grabbed him by the pony tail and donkey punched him. Seriously though, the dude worked his ass off to sell our home, so I'll go ahead and have another drink.

Has anyone else ever noticed that it's hard to pour a glass of wine without that little drip running down the bottle's edge, forming a rim around the bottom, thus staining your desk? That's horse shit.

Why the fuck are you even bothering with a glass?

You have to roll the bottle when your done pouring, give the bottle one have twist while the bottle is still in the position of pouring, but with no wine coming out.

they also make a little piece of "tin foil" that goes in the opening of the bottle to give it a better pour spout. learned that two weeks ago at the wineries. or else get one of those wines in a box, they dont leak

I always try that half twist thing, but it never works for me. Although, I invented a masturbation method called the twist and shout. That does work for me.

You bastards left beer cans and bong resin all over this place. Damn if I would have known you were gonna be a bunch of slobs, I wouldn't have had this party.
Thanks for all the kind words. I might not be around here for a while with the big move and all. We have to stay with some family until we close on our house in Wisconsin. So goodbye for a while.

I don't know why, but this reminds me of two years ago I had the fortune,or misfortune of being in the UP (it's close to Wis., don't ya know). I was at a reception, I went up to the bar, the bartender asked what I'd like, I said 'I'm thinking wine", he said 'what flavor?'.

I said................'glass of water, will do.'
