No reporting on his injury. Not even a timetable on when they might have a report.

Any player should at least have dignity of a concerned inquiry from a reporter.

Judging by response, no one here cares about him either!

obBump from the second page. Anyone know anything?

The team spokesman also confirmed that TE Evan Moore was placed on injured reserve, meaning he will be out for the entire season.

No reporters were asking but the Packers put out a press release today.

The Green Bay Packers have signed defensive tackle Rodney Allen and placed tight end Evan Moore on injured reserve with a knee injury. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transactions Tuesday.

Allen, a 6-foot-2, 315-pound player, was a two-year letterman at Kansas. He will wear No. 67.

The lack of concern for an injured Packer, even if he is down the depth chart, is bothersome.

For Moore, having another chance next year may be a blessing in disguise.

Need a hug, hippy?

It's football, the guy's a footnote... so is this thread.

Evan who? This is a league for big boys. Concern is for people who matter and your children.

The press is out to SELL PAPERS...and Moore isn't going to sell anything.

Provided it's not a long-term injury, this might be the best thing for Moore. He can develop for a year, and have a legitimate chance at making the team next year.

Bruised knee ligament supposedly out several weeks. Injury settlement/waived. Odds and ends at the bottom.

Moore is a bigger story out here in California. Ever read his bio page?

BTW will there be a TE sighting this preseason besides the sight of Donald Lee dropping the rare pass thrown his direction?

Have you seen the youtube video of the Packers TE highlights this preseason?

Don't be such ESPN like scoffers. There are things west of New Jersey and even west of the Mississippi that do matter.

Yep....he had no chance to make the Pack/any team this year. Not to say an injury is a good thing, but for unproven dudes like Moore, this may be a blessing to give him another year to get better (and collect an NFL paycheck). Just saying, but he was far from making any team's roster this year.
