LB Nick Barnett was to have a 1-game suspension due to an altercation at an Appleton, WI bar last year.
Link to article is above, but Nick loses 1 weeks worth of pay while still being able to play in week 1.

Damn! I didn't even know that Barnett was facing a 1 game suspension. I thought this whole thing was squashed months ago. I'm sure glad Barnett can play in the season opener.

Yeah, I dont recall any word of him being suspended. Could thing he wasnt because it would be BS thing for the commish to do after letting pacman jones play.

I disagree. IF Pacman had been caught jaywalking like Barnett was, he'd still be suspended.
I cannot believe that we're letting someone convicted of jaywalking back into the league. Where the hell are the standards?
(yes I know there was an assault charge, that's not the problem)
