i posted earlier that hit reminded me of the hit we put on randal cunningham back in the day...acl. i think it was paup that got him but i could be wrong. cunningham mouthed off before the game when asked about the Packers..."it's only the Green Bay Packers." Pack won the game and he appologized.

Reminds me of when Favre went down with his leg bent, he didn't miss a start....so we better not assume.

Then again, Joe Theisman where you KNEW he was out. Lawrence Taylor said his leg breaking sounded like a shotgun going off if I recall.

looks like it is mostly a side hit or stretch. If he's really lucky, he'll get away with an MCL and be out a couple of weeks.

When Brett hurt his knee the Pack had a bye week coming up. If the Pats lose Brady for any length of time that team will struggle until he returns...

Using the Favre example that would be one week.

I don't know knees as well as some people, but since that's a blow to the inside of the leg (you can see the arch in Brady's foot) that's a likely LCL injury. Anybody who knows more about this want to correct me?

yes...it was more from the side. cunningham's was more from the front.

It's wait and see; wish Brady the best as I never like seeing a player go down to injury.

It looks serious. It looks like there is definitly some problems with the lateral ligiment and maybe worse.

I don't know if it takes a doctor to see which way a knee gets mangled :)

But I'm not a doctor either, so what do I know :)

He has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow. I wish him well.

What is an LCL?

I thought there was ACL, MCL, Meniscus and um... ya.

ACL, MCL, LCL and PCL are the 4 big ones.

Gotcha. I'm adding to the arsenal today folks!

Just in case I wanna be like those Browns fans ("SeriousFans") on Justin.tv and do my own commentary.

Has anyone seen those guys? Fuckin hilarious/horrible/annoying/embarassing/LCL/younameit ... they are miserable right now

if it is an acl like the report, then i would guess the lcl and mcl also got screwed up by looking at that picture and the knee diagram

Multiple radio reports here (locally in NE) say torn ACL...

Tough blow for the pats... Jets/Buffalo win division?

I'd still pick the Pats.
