Packers are 1-0.

Falcons crushed the Lions on the ground; take notes McCarthy but don't copycat Falcs too much. Air Rodgers and his receiving men are the key on offense. D must pressure Kitna into mistakes/turnovers as they Lions offense will score with those stud WRs.

I expect nothing else but a Packers win on sunday at Detroit. Always tough at Detroit though but let's roll Packers.

The Loins looked like lunch meat against an inexperienced Falcons team. GB should not have a problem if they play disciplined football like they did last night.

Our D is a lot better than the Falcons.

I suspect the Packers may have a bit of emotional letdown after the big MNF win. They will struggle initially against the Lions but end up winning:

I think the Lions are bad, but not THAT bad. Plus, they'll be riled for a game against us. We will not have as easy a time with them as the Falcons did.

However, Grant and BJack still carry the day, but we have long drives, keeping the score down, but the game out of doubt.

I am so certain of a Packers win, I have them for 16 in the pick 'em comp this week.

But, I think OPF made a great observation about the MNF hangover. Still, I predict a shutout by our D.

Tarlam! say: 34 - 0.

Tough to win on the road - even in Michigan.

I think it will be closer than others here. Our D didn't look very tight in pass coverage and continue to give up big penalties.

Detroit is going to be focused on fixing their run defense, so do we spread them out 5 wide like we did last year? Maybe go to 3 and 4 wides and run out of that formation. Until Ryan Grant feels 100%, I'm not going to feel too good about our run game.

I like the idea. And Rodgers throwing for 400 yards as a follow-up. Dreamin a lil bit, but hey, I'm a passing kinda guy... always a QB! :D

I'm thinking more along the lines of a high scoring game. I can't see Detroit stopping either the Packers passing or running game. However, I'm not completely sold on the Packers pass defense. Kitna may not be Manning or (a healthy) Brady, but he can hit receivers a helluva lot better than Tavaris Jackson, and he has much better receivers to hit.
