I can't get a good replay on my tv to see the ball and him moving but that would be amazing if he did get that good of a jump on the ball...

KGB is a good asset to the team but I was looking at his contract, he will definitely need to take a pay cut if he wants to finish out his contract in GB ...

4/11/2003: Signed a seven-year, $37.3 million contract. The deal included $13.25 million in upfront guarantees. 2008: $6.15 million, 2009: $7.3 million  , 2010: Free Agent

Not only that, but I watched in in ESPN HD and they wasted the bottom 10% of the screen on a hard (not transparent so we could see the field) overlay of red/black. Crappy shit IMHO. I did like the awesome animations and overlays of plays though.

Yeah, I noticed they did a poor job on the replays.

Gbaja-Biamila said the financial part was something he didn't take for granted.

"I signed a contract. I'm going to hold my end of it; I'm going to try to do my best to do everything they tell me to do," he said. "It was a great deal. I'm grateful and appreciative of it and I'm trying to honor it by giving them my very best when I go out there."

If he stays productive as a pass-rush specialist, I don't think they would cut him. I could see a pay cut.
Who do they have on the roster that can replace him? I've seen posters wringing their hands about the pressure C.Williams brought...cutting KGB wouldn't help that. My guess is they restructure his contract after this year to get an extra year or two out of him.

At least he has the anti-Javon attitude going for him.

$7.3 million is becoming cheap for a pass rush specialist that can produce 10+ sacks a year these days. I bet they will keep him and his current contract.

Dude you have to change your screen mode on the TV this happens all the time when I am bartending and different sports channels are set up different ways, like our 47 inch TV's at the pub in wide screen look like you are describing but if they are changed to full screen the ESPNHD bullshit is on the sides not the bottom. Either way you are missing part of the picture but for NFL full seems to be better.

Plus, the Packers have so much cap room available that we can afford him without a problem.

But if he loses a step for whatever reason and can't perform? Then I don't think they'd even ask him to take a pay cut. Pass rush is all that KGB contributes, so when he longer gets to the QB on a regular basis, they'll just probably put him out to pasture.

high definition 60" with DVR (TiVO). I watched it 5 times. NO WAY he was offsides. NO WAY.

Plus they went on to score on that drive I think.

No, I have a 50" HD that way playing in aspect ratio at 1080i...meaning that is the true picture. It wasn't cut off at all or scrunched, just saying the the bottom 3 inches were of a red/black overlay (their graphics). The picture was perfect, just a bad graphics choice. On topic note: I think KGB will have a good year, as we need him for the pass rush, tho Kampman and Jenks gave some good push too.

i agree with ya'll... just because he is moving before the snap of the ball doesn't mean he is over the line of scrimmage... its called jumping the snap-count!!... in the past couple years i can remember him doing it on a couple of occasions and being called for it... ITS BULLSHIT!!!

Dwright F. of the Colts would be in the AFL if they didn't count those early runs at a QB. I played that play over and over on HDDVR and it's hard to say KGB left early. When he's on, he's as good a pure passrusher as any.
