The only Mike Sherman play calling of RUN - RUN - PASS doesnt help anyone in Green out. Why do we have to get so vanilla with a small lead? Too predictable.

but thats misleading. He was utterly dominant in the first half, and a combination of bad play calling and bad decisions and a bad defense let Detroit almost pull it out. Fortunately, he had a come from behind win to cap off his day. I'll take that from him.

I am really mad TT let Ryan go. That new Punter nearly lost us the game.

How is that misleading?

Because of all the Packer drops? Factor that in for us Lurker... out of the 6 drops, lets do 4 for another ... mmmm... 40 yards... about 130 rating?

Well, Ryan had one of those "muff a tricky snap on a punt" things last year at Chicago. So right now the two punters are tied on that account, but in terms of actual punting I'd say Frost is ahead right now. Later on down the line? Who knows.

Brett doesn't look very good today either. I'm completely objective. I don't think many people here are.

The Jackson pass was clearly behind him and required Jackson to put the breaks on and jump to stop his forward progress to grab the pass.

A-Rod had another solid performance. It's an A in my book. Come from behind win.

Rodgers has had a great start to the season. He's among the top 5 in just about every statistical category for NFL quarterbacks. He's 2-0.

Now he just has to keep doing it and he'll be in the probowl and maybe the superbowl if the defense can hold up.

Wow no. I hope you have the game on DVR and watch the 3 angles they show of that play. He had no reason to jump, and you dont stop by jumping.

The Jennings drop was behind him but not by a large margin. Too many drops today. When you have a young inexperienced QB, you cant have that many drops and continue to be successful.

They'll be just fine and 13-3ish if he continues playing like this. PB brought up a good point on the lack of tape, though.

The deep throw that JEnnings caught and then bounced backward before he went forward again was a good throw.

The defender dropped the ball and he had a safety coming over the top. He threw it shallow enough not to lead his guy right into the safety.

Who had the block in the back that brought the Blackmon return from the 40 to like the 10? Whoo, that made me furious. Will is a dynamo back there. Stud!

I believe that would be the special teams ace that made the team as a really bad cornerback...otherwise known as BUSH!!

Sad. I really like Bush on ST. He was very good at it last year.

If he is so good at special teams why couldn't he recover that fumble against the Giants? His screw-ups lead GB to the brink of disaster. GB should of included him in the Favre trade.

Good summary, but over 50 words!
Let me try:

Packers score; fans gush with praise.
Lions score; fans panic and criticize.
Packers win; fans gloat!

Those three statements, along with a fourth one "Packers lose, fans despair." can be mixed and matched in various orders and numbers to summarize any game!

With a little reworking, this could be a haiku. :)

OK!

Packers 48 Lions 25 BUT...

if you swith the Lions numbers (score) then it's:

Lions 52 Packers 48 !!!

Anyway, that pretty much sums up my posts & others too
