Bucs cut him. 2nd round pick of the Titans.

He looked great at UF. From free agent signing to cut. Yikes.

I wouldn't mind seeing the packers give him a workout.

Wasn't he a free agent that signed for cheap with Tampa Bay? I doubt Thompson has interest now if he had little interest this offseason.

He hasn't played a snap yet this season, and only had 4 receptions in the preseason.

Heck he only had 5 receptions all last year for the Titans despite starting two games. Plus he was fumble prone his first two years in the NFL. http://www.nfl.com/players/bentroupe/profile?id=TRO531860

Unless Humphrey's knee is much worse than advertised, I don't think this guy would contribute much.

Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom for talent to get the message.

You don't take risks on bad character guys with no talent. Troupe has talent....and is worth giving a look see.

He had 33 and 55 receptions his first two years...and as for fumbling...2 a year ain't terrible and none were lost.

His numbers when healthy are as good as Lee's. You really don't know what you are talking about.

That might be true, but there are two organizations that agree with him.

He was a jock in Tenn right? Not a very good blocker, but a very quick TE? Bring 'em in and see if M3 can charm him like a Cobra.

Too late, the Raiders signed him:

So I guess the Raiders personnel office agrees with Tyrone....

Which two? Tenn didn't cut him, he left them.
