Thursday and nobody started a Predict the score: Packers vs Cowboys thread?

Bad omen?

Cowboys 34 Packers 27

Lack of pressure on Romo kills this one plus Packers can't protect a lead...yet.

Cowboys has never won at Lambeau...just like Saints hadn't in 2006.

Romo and the 'girls travel to Lambeau after a very physical divisional game against the Eagles. The short week of preperation and banged up Cowboys starters, plus some favorable match-ups for the Packers, spells victory as the Packers hold off a late comeback from the Cowgirls.

I think we'll get our pressure. The Dallas linemen on both sides of the ball have to still be exhausted from the intense Eagles game and the short week.. I'm also forecasting a Harris pick 6.

I'll say Packers 34 Cowboys 24.

Sorry for choosing the Cowboys but the very young Packers players are still prone to making too many mistakes in prime time games.

This is still just the third game in a very long season. I am confident McCarthy will focus on the Packers weaknesses in this game and turn it into a positive learning experience for the players.

Arod gets some time and rips the Girls secondary deep....and we hold Owens and Witten in check. Barber = Barbie on Sunday night.

Packers - 27

Cowboys - 17

My favorite team against my second favorite team--coincidentally, they just might be the two best teams in the NFL.

I'll go with my favorite team in close fairly high scoring game--37-26.

Why? Well, there was a great amount of confidence when we went to Dallas and had Favre last season. This year, we are at home, and IMO, we are a better team with Rodgers at QB than with Favre. Thus, we win.

Wow, lots of pessimism in this thread!

Harmon forecast has this to say
GB 28 Dal 26
Cowboys QB Tony Romo could struggle against a Packers defense that used a mix of four-man rushes and blitzes, which led to five sacks against the Lions. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers faces a Cowboys defense that struggled last week, but made two sacks when it mattered to preserve the victory.

Less than 3pts, so he basically considers it a push.

Dallas D is not in the same league as ours IMO

33-27 Packers

I can't predict a loss for the Packers.

We have our best shot in years of beating them. Its our home field and we are playing very well against poor competition. Hope they keep up the play. If we win, you will hear lots of Packer SB talk.

I hope for a good game, but a Packers victory in the end. We need to pressure Romo as much as we can. Hopefully the home crowd will be extremely loud and into it.

Too many people picking the Cowboys. What is this? I thought it was packerrats, not cowboyrats.

Anyway, Packers make Romo live up to his name of "boy" and trump the Cowgirls 35 - 17.

I have no earthly idea what will happen for this one, however, every time I pick them to lose they win, so, Cowboys 21, Packers 17.

Let the streak continue.

I'm right there with you. If I pick them to lose, they win. So, I'll say Cowboys embarrass us with a 45-17 romp.

I want to change my prediction of GB 107-DA 3 because GB would only have to score a touchdown on every possession to do that. Instead I change it to GB 214-DA 0. I figure GB will score at least 107 off of interceptions by dumbo ears.

Agreed. Homerisms take over in a dogfight. Somehow I don't see the shootout that we all see. Pack 27-Cowboys 24. Arod struggles early and wins the game to Jennings somehow.

Last year it was less than vanilla, you think Sanders learned anything? I think he will go blitz happy and we will get torched while the CB's are playing ZONE. This entire game is on the defense and their ability to get pressure on Romo. I think the offense at home will be just fine, although it would be nice to see a clock eating running game...
