This deserves a thread

Help wanted with to-do-list in Green Bay!

I was in GB in 2006...I saw Chicago 1 day, Lambeau a lot, Atrium a lot, hotel, places to eat, had huge migrane for days, stood GBRulz up, hugged B at game, screamed my throat sore and went back to Euro Denmark. Oh Rams won! F@ck!! Must beat Falcons!!!

I want tons of horseraddish cheddar cheese to bring home - where do I get tons of it in GB? Skippy too and loads of other stuff. Hmm, good Halloween chocolate (not crappy). A willing & whining blonde

Others; please suggest stuff (I will probably regret ever asking  )

"Things to do in Green Bay when you're are Danish."

Perhaps you can enlighten us about what it means to be Danish? Otherwise, we might mislead you by suggesting things to do when you're German, Australian, or American!

Anyone have directions to the public library??

I'd suggest a side trip to Racine......there's LOTS of Danes there:

You know, in case you feel homesick or something.

LOL - I was thinking the same thing. Not sure what Danish people would do differently than the other people that come here.

If you've done the stadium bit, you've seen GB! Now, go take a trip up to Door County...it's beautiful up there. Leaves should also be at their peak when you come visit.

I used to work for SC Johnson and visited Racine 20 some times. In fact, I was planning on moving there with my family....

When I worked and lived in Wauwatosa, I went with a woman from Racine. That little city was the armpit of Wisconsin, IMO.

Ummmm..... It wasn't my choice. I can tell, you are not an avid reader of "Tarlam wears his heart in the forum". Otherwise, you would know the reason my kids do not attend The Prairie School....

You are just a font of information, Mike. Thanks for letting me know to avoid Oshkosh. It's gotta be like a hornets nest around there that weekend.

Ella's looks good. I just have to figure out where Washington Street is. I suppose it might also be a good idea to call and let them know I'm coming, huh?

It's East Washington Ziggy

As a girl your natural radar will work finding the street; it's near a shopping mall

If you want the world's best Gyro check out Parthanon's on State Street

If you want a fun sandwich check out Visions

wtf is horseradish cheese? There are three cheese factories about 20 minutes out of GB. If you want fresh cheese, go to Renard's cheese, Krohn Dairy Store or Belgioioso's Cheese. These are all actual cheese factories with a retail outlet store attached. Doesn't get any more fresh than that!

Are you flying into Chicago again this year?

uggg, O'Hare. I always have to connect there when flying out of GB!! Be prepared for a long drive to GB because the Tri-State tollway is under major construction. I went down to Chicago last month...on a Sunday afternoon there was bumper to bumper traffic...I hate to see it during the weekdays!!

You could stop in Denmark on your way to GB and stop at http://www.belgioioso.com/ Cheese Store. It's not far off the highway. Denmark, WI that is

Flying from O'Hara to GB; got nice price on domestic flight plus it's a time saver. Also, I handle time zones badly & wouldn't want to fall asleep driving.

ohh ok. I didn't know you were flying into GB. Smart choice! Then you can pick up your cheese at the airport! Maybe go across the street to the casino, too :) I know the casino is one of my favorite places in town ;)
