The way to avoid your D getting tired is not to bomb away. Its to gain first downs.

The Cowboys have better lines on both sides of the ball. they will win a ball control game.

McCarthy doesn't think so!

We are going to need to get it in the endzone eventually if we want to win this game. Still, good progress by the offense.

our o-line and pass protection just are still not very good

rodgers is making the line look better just like favre use to do by throwing the ball when he shouldn't have to avoid sacks.

rodgers is doing it with his feet. which is smart, take the snap, and get as far away from the fucking line as you can get

RashanGary

Taht was a nice drive. Dallas was playing all pass rush. The Packers are a home run team though. They seem to love on big runs and big passes.

pbmax
09-21-2008, 09:14 PM
If the play calling rabble rousers want to get upset about something real, wonder why everyone stopped their route. Did Rodgers fail to throw early as designed or did they have a collective brain malfunction?

Nope, there's a lot of football left to play.

If you hang around close enough, you have a chance to win games at the end. If the defense plays well, we'll have a shot at the end and that's all you can really ask for.

Guiness

Tramon Williams on Terrell Owens scares me a bit though...

I guess their strategy is to put the #1 CB on the #2 WR and take him out of the game, and put the #2CB as well as dedicate a safety to TO. Seems sound to me.

If the Pcakers do not start playing better I will leave this game aknowledging Dallas is on a different level. They are just beating us down. It's not luck. It's not good calls. It's domination that the score does not give justice to.

Some how, some way, wish upon a star or wtf ever, we have to learn to be able to consistantly run the football. 50 yard pass plays are great and all but if the receiver doen't get in the endzone, we got nothing.

Good question, hadn't heard that before. But becareful. Most pass plays only have time for two reads and they are often on the same side of the field.

Nah, we were beat by the better team tonight, but not outclassed. We really gotta start using blitz packages against good teams, the sanders bend and sometimes break defense is good against the jon kitnas of the league, but teams like this don't make enough mistakes for it to work.

I hope this doesn't start a pissing match, but probably like last year. Just goes to show you, no matter who is back there it doesn't matter if you can't keep the defense off of them. Rodgers and Favre both looked pretty poor against Dallas and neither had much time to throw.
