Yikes, ugly game. Halfway through second quarter Minnesota has 17 points on less than 50 yards total offense. Five yards on six carries for Peterson, a sparkling 3 of 10 for Frerrote. New Orleans is moving the ball but has four fumbles (lost two), a blocked field goal returned for a TD and seven penalties. Not a good night to be watching ESPN. :no:

I dunno about the Peterson non-fumble. Sure looked like a fumble to me. Sure, his hand was technically on the ball when his knee hit the ground, but he wasn't cradling it and didn't have control of it at all.
