Sorry Packerrats: The above is the actual link.

Above is the link to Legendary Packer Head Coach - Vince Lombardi's GREAT locker room speech, where he compares Life to football, and the difference between a team winning and losing.

Football - a game of inch's, and a desire to win that battle Vs. the men on the other side of the ball.

This speech is passionate, revealing and overall inspirational to listen to, even today, with all the stress and suffering we see around us in everyday LIFE.

This speech - speaks mountains of why Vince Lombardi is so special to Packer fans, NFL and football fans in general.

Enjoy it. Learn fron it !

May it lead you to better things in your lives.

I believe that this is; of which he speaks! ; ) Woodbuck is right this is an awesome video (I'm 99.9% sure this is it), however it's Al Pacino from Any Given Sunday, not Lombardi though damn well sounds like it could be. It'll make you wish the season started this Sunday.

Yeah that's probably it (the right speech), but on that site there's only short snippets from the speech. I was hoping to find the whole dealio

Al Pacino as Miami Sharks Head Coach Tony D'Amato In Any Given Sunday: You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break of the game, every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the fucking difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!

No I'm not. I found something the other day that has me wondering the same thing. Did Vince Lombardi give that speech?

I'm trying to research that - as there is this fella named Paterno, not exactly sure of his last name (an actor of sorts) who became famous doing Vince Lombardi impersonations.
