Scuttlebutt is JT is really coming on. I haven't watched him exclusively and we cannot get all the games here in Minnesota. When I concentrate on him though, he often gets sucked inside and they run around him to the outside. Does anyone have any thoughts on JT? It sure would be a boost if he could play some effective minutes. Has he shown any pass rush?

Good question. I don't know that he can go from inactive to pro bowl in one year, but maybe he can do enough to chip in a little. It sounds like he needs more time in the weight room and some seasoning to be starting material.

I tried to watch him specifically on quite a few plays yesterday. He seems to hold his own, but its more like he's taking up space than really making plays.

Hes an upgrade over KGB on first and second down... Atleast he doesn't get plowed over by the o-line...

That's a start.

I actually did watch him as close as the TV feed would allow.

Your right, he does flow down the line fast and doesn't seem to maintain his line, so cut-back running kills him. I think this is a matter of size and strength.

For a 4round pick, he really should be playing. With lack of size I would guess he would wear down...we will see.

Could be a talent in a year or so after he put on weight.

I don't think size is a problem. Other than Jenkins, he is about the same as the others. He will probably put on a few lbs with a full offseason, though, and that can't hurt.

He is improving.

He isn't the rookie he once was but isn't up to adequate yet.

All you can ask for is improvement and he is improving weekly.

When Hunter and Mongomery get back on the field Thompson will get fewer snaps.
