View Full Version : The Garbage Can

Deputy Nutz
06-27-2006, 09:51 AM
Some of you have been wondering about the new room named the Garbage Can. The Garbage Can will have no rating. We expect the Garbage room to be full of vulgarity of all different kinds so it will only be open to those that are 18 and older. Mad is currently working on the disclaimer and once that is all set up I will be taking request for enterance into the Garbage Can, I will also be monitoring the Garbage Can as well. Just to let some of you know, for new members of PackerRats, there is going to be a minimum of 200 posts or 100 posts and 90 days for requests to be granted.

Please if you are not 18 do not request to be in the room, or lie on the disclaimer. If it is believed that a poster is not 18 and has lied on the disclaimer they will be removed from PackerRats all together. so please respect our wishes on the disclaimer.

If you have anymore questions about the Garbage Can please PM me, or email me at nutz@packerrats.net

Edited: 6:13pm
Here is the deal, it aint open yet. I jumped the gun a bit. When the disclaimer hits the forum under the rules and regulations, you will fill that out, and then copy and past it in an email to me at nutz@packerrats.net.

Please don't spam to get your post count up, it is not that important. What is important is filling out the disclaimer when it pops up and getting that to me.

Sincerely
Nutz

When I went to click on the link, it says "sorry, only users with special access can access this forum" - it pretty much made me want to say "F U". While I realize it's not done yet, I certainly hope that there is a better message portrayed to others who attempt to enter in there. Perhaps explaining that age validation/confirmation is required or something like that...instead of just saying basically.... "you're not good enough to come in here"

P.S. - I could tell you sooo much backstory on the Dells, it'd be ridiculous.

But I'd rather you and your daughters just enjoy the experience.

By the way, the indoctrination has begun in terms of my conversion to being a Nittany Lion fan. Apparently, I am only part of 13% of the student body to get season tickets. And recently I was photographed with the two most notable campus landmarks - the Lion Shrine and the JoePa statue. Good stuff.

You lucky SOB. Not that I don't have a few autographed trinkets myself.

In fact, I'm sure anyone who sees my place in PA will be intimidated by my GBP collection...but I don't care. I'm loud and I'm proud!!!

Bad news is I can't get DirectTV/NFL Sunday Ticket. Too wooded/hilly in the Happy Valley. I'm a little stressed about that.

Seriously, not that I would ever abandon my Badger heritage, but I may have a few leave-behind items you want??

Well, it was an item I won at a Cancer/Relay for Life Auction so I had to buy it of course, but in speaking with the Frame Guy I got the jersey for $25 below his cost so I did ok.

I pretty much don't spend money on myself except when filling the basement.

Maybe it was the Priest in Hudson that killed those poor people at the Funeral home several years back. But he only molested kids, I guess it doesn't count when you were 36 when it happened. But if it was him he had a good reason for not calling you back, he whacked himself.

Since I am an overly religious man, Cambell has confessed to me, although he did call you an asshole, and I had a hard time arguing with him, but he said he was sorry, and that you were no fun to play with anyways.

That was the end zone I stormed after we upset those Ohio State wussus when they were ranked #5 in country. Saturday Night Game on ESPN. A journeyman QB comes in (Matt Schubert) to throw a 80 yard bomb to Lee Evans who beat Chris Gamble for the win.

So there you have it; the real reason my loyalty has alwasy been with Chris Gamble.

That is my girlfriend's favorite Badger game ever. I was in HS for that one, but watched it on TV. That and the Michigan game last year (was at that one!) were the coolest things I have ever seen. I have never had more fun than that michigan game in my entire life!!

Bretsky
07-14-2006, 12:11 AM
That was a great game; we got tix late so I was sitting in the End Zone surrounded by Ohio State Fans and in typical fashion I was talking shit all night. After I told the OSU fans I sense their DL was getting Tired cause Booker Stanley was eating them alive, the dufus in front of me tried telling me their DL was FOUR DEEP and would not tire.

So when Lee Evans made a Pig Roast out of Chris Gamble for the winning TD, the Four Deep Chant from myself and my former college roomate (from NY) went rampant. I think the guy wanted to cry.

Since Tressel took over, Wisconsin has been a bigger thorn in the Buckeyes side than Michigan. I'll take it over the pre-Tressel days though.

Yes, they always seem to match up with the Buckeyes well. Memory is failing me; which college Big Ten team do you like ? You are a Wisconsin flippper if I recall. Like the Packers, Brew, and Bucks but don't like the Mighty Badge.

I don't hate the Badgers, but I like Ohio State in college football and Duke in college basketball.

As a kid I loved the Buckeyes unis. Duke is a long story, but bottom line is that I've liked Duke since 1983 (Coach K's first good team with Amaker, Dawkins, and Alarie). I didn't just jump on the bandwagon like half the Duke "fans" did. I had to go through 8 years of Coach K not being able to win the big one before he broke through in 1991.
