View Full Version : Posters I'd Most Like to Meet

Tarlam!
11-02-2008, 02:22 AM
I have had the pleasure of meeting some PR posters and I am a huge fan of everyone I have met so far. I even met a real live Viking fan and had no idea how cool they can be. They can be really cool!

And, that Mexican dude that runs this place is totally different than I expected. He's not like Speedy Gonzales at all! And PiP is the classiest woman I've ever met.

Ziggy is "my girl" and I will always love her to death. And you don't get to meet people nicer than Michele, better known in these parts as GBRulz, anywhere on earth. What a babe! She also won my heart!!

And then there's the fellas: Nutz, Bretsky, Skin, Partial, Superfan. The guys are princes among men. And I "sort of" met Jeffro. What a man!

I am really blessed to have met all these people in real life.

I was just thinking to myself, which posters I would like to meet that I haven't met yet and although, it might sound like a popularity contest, it's not really. It's just Tarlam! paying respect!!

Ladies first: I would love to meet Seven. She's been there for me on PM when I've been REAL down.

I'd love to meet KY. I don't know anyone here that has his football genious coupled with his dry delivery and down to earth personality.

I would love to meet Patler. It was I that coined the phrase "you've been Patlerized". One of my brain-blitzes! But, you have to want to meet the guy that everyone is in awe of when it comes to facts and stats, right? Well, at least I do!

So, if I find a genie in a bottle and get to wish for 3 meetings, it's Seven, KY and Patler in no particular order.

And then, I'll want 3 more wishes and meet the next 3!

Not trying to change your excellent topic there, Tar....but of all the rats that people have met, which one is not at all what you expected them to be?

For me, it's got to be Justin Harrell. He was actually really fun to hang around with and just a flat out great guy. Sorry, JH if I've ruined your rep..lol..but don't worry, some people won't believe me anyhow

My top three of who I want to meet...my homegirl, 007.... KYPack & Zool. I'd also like to meet my favorite troll, cpk. I also want to meet Rastak, too. Hell, I can't name just my top three...there are too many!!

PIP's husband should also receive an honorable mention. The guy definitely deserves a "kick ass hubby" award...he's awesome!

I'd like to meet everybody; of course the gals first. 007 and Mazzin come to mind as two I think I'd find interesting.

I knew Tarlam secretly hated you. You could see it in his eyes. In fact, at the tailgate party he whispered, "I'm going to kill that sonofabitch." I asked what he was talking about, but he didn't answer. When I looked to where he was staring, I saw you in line for the port-a-john.

Good point. I agree with those who say they can't choose just 3. I'd definitely want to meet Patler, no question, and 007 and Zool, Iron Mike (where the hell were you?), and of course Rastak. And KY.

And I agree about the Packer Hubby designation. The person most different from what I thought he'd be like is probably RG.

I had to see if there was really such a thing as a douche bag. It sounds like some device from the 19th century, like a chastity belt.

I would think "douche bag" would be a compliment - they leave a gal fresh as a daisy.

falco is most definately on tarlam's list.

Falco is namely one of the most entertaining posters on this forum. Tarlam! loves Falco's posts. He just finds it odd that an American would use a dead Austrian musician not named Mozart as his web name.

Although, any intellectual will tell you Mozart was NOT Austrian.

Knowing that can win one a LOT of beers at bars where they take on bets....

Indeed! You are correct! Mozart was a Salzburger! When he was born, Salzburg was an independant principality ruled by a Prince-Bishop. Not a part of the Austrian Empire.

Of course, today Salzburg is Austria! But not when Mozart was born. His official nationality is Salzburger much to the chagrin of austrians everywhere.

You can even win beers with this bet in Salzburg! I have!!

After meeting Madtown last year, he looked more Italian than Mexican to me. IMO, he is a dead ringer for New England's linebacker Tedy Bruschi.

MateoInMex

The only time I miss seeing Mexicans is when I'm finally not around 'em. I thought when I moved I would have missed the neighborhood with the tables and chairs and empty beer cans on the lawn...now I pretty much live in a gated community...and I hate the fact noone stops by and knocks on our door at 9 in the morning selling tamales or shrimp cocktails.

But I know what you mean Madtown...I still think it's not a good idea if we meet..because you and I would probably end up in jail.

I guess I'd want to meet TexasBackerPacker just to tell him he's a Buzzkill..but he'd still probably cover his ears and keep repeating "mow my lawn....mow my lawn...mow my lawn..liberal scum."

Patler, Bretsky, or the Creepy Rat...The hottie Packer fan on here...I'd be down to meet everyone...in a bar somewhere...where I'd walk in and everyone would crowd around and rub my head like when Danny Noonan won the Caddy Championship...then I'd tell TexasBackerPacker to STFU and throw in some more chicken wings.
