The Chicago Tribune reports that Kyle Orton will likely miss at least one month with a high ankle sprain.
It beats a break, but this loss is devastating for the 5-3 Bears' previously promising season. They barely inched out a win over Detroit behind Rex Grossman on Sunday and now Grossman is likely to start the next four games, three of which are on the road. Grossman did not play well against the Lions and no one should be in a rush to pick him up. Orton owners can try to hang on if possible, but normally the timetable for high ankle sprains is 4-6 weeks. Nov. 2 - 9:29 pm et
