Here we go - a critical divisional game that will give us a leg up in winning our division for the second straight year (and 5th of 7 years since the NFC North was formed). I don't put much stock in historical stats, but we have won five straight over them. We beat them opening week, but they've got a different look now.

The Vikings are surging since Ferotte took over. After losing their first two, they've won 4 of 6. Ferotte also had a big game last week, with 3 TD passes. Couple that with Peterson continuing to run well, and it will be a challenge containing their O (who'd a thought that?). I'm looking at Bigby as a difference maker helping contain the run, forcing the ball to the air.

Our pass D should be up to the task of containing Ferotte, however. He's thrown as many interceptions as TDs, and our secondary is not a good one to put the ball up against!

For our O, with Allen looking like he's going to be out, Rodgers should have a lot of time to throw the ball. The Vikings secondary is suspect, at best. Of course, they've got a vaunted DL even without him, but I don't see pressure coming from anywhere else. Grant had success against them in the past, we'll see if he can do it again.

An area to look for us to do well is punt returns, on both sides of the ball The Vikings have been allowing 16.5yds/return, and averaging 4.6yds. I don't want to hear another complaint about Stock!

The Vikings coverage units have been among the worst in the NFL, so look for Blackmon to make his presence felt.

As a side note, Driver is set to break a record this week-end. He is currently tied with Sterling Sharp for consecutive games with a reception, at 103!

well, this is nothing like last week where some people felt that somehow a loss was almost as good as a win. WE HAVE to win these next 2 games, no question about it, if we lose one of those, then we will need a huge miracle to make the playoffs

second place is no good in the next to games. the team and coaches need to show up and preform like their seasons depend on it

Nice Last week broke the streak of me bad mouthing and predicting losses resulting in Wins! :)

We will decimate the Vikings. They will have no pass rush and Grant is going for 120 and two TDs.

One day, a housework challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt.

Soon after he stepped into the Laundry Room, he shouted to his Packer fan wife, "What setting do I use on the washing machine for my sweatshirt?"

"It depends," she replied. "What does it say on your shirt??"

He yelled back, "Go Vikings!!"

She replied, "Use hot water, a box of Tide, and four cups of bleach!"

Enjoy the game Tar!

I am heading out in about an hour to have my pre-game pints and a buffet breakfast at Townhall brewery. We had some pints there so you know the beer I'm talking about!

I expect this to be a tight game. On the road last Vikes/Pack game the Vikings were in the game until the end and that was with zero passing game. The Vikings are are throwing the ball much better the last few weeks. I think the Packers are a slightly better team but with home field advantage I take the Vikings in a close one.

Sorry LL, I can't help with a stream. I have bought the NFL Game Day Ticket the last 3 years. It's especially for foreigners (not Canada).

I gave one Rat my access code when I was unable to watch myself. He is based in the USA and it didn't work.

Left cornerback Winfield (and safety Sharper) are going to be obsessed with the slant routes - and looking to jump one for a pick.
The entire secondary will be slanted towards stopping Jennings.
A Jordy Nelson double move past Winfield would look very nice, indeed.

You can also try http://myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=americanfootball I watch a lot of games there when I cannot get them on a local station. Green Bay will win this game; I've become a believer in AROD and if you buy into him you have to strongly believe Green Bay will win this game.

They are healthy now as the only player down is Cullen Jenkins and they pick up Harrell in his second week

After AROD leads the team to wins over Minnesota and Da Bears next week, TT will take another step toward feeling good about his decision to move on with AROD

They are the better team
They have more talent

I picked GB for decent points in the confidence pool; just raised their point level and lowered the Jags as I have a feeling Del Rio has lost that locker room and they are at risk of losing to the hapless Lions.

Green Bay wins this one

Take it to the bank

MINNEAPOLIS --

Packers linebacker Brandon Chillar is a surprise inactive today, freeing up a spot on the 45-man roster for receiver James Jones.

Meanwhile, Vikings DE Jared Allen and his sprained shoulder will suit up for the Vikings.

Here is the full inactives list:

Packers
No. 3 QB Brian Brohm
CB Pat Lee
RB DeShawn Wynn
LB Brandon Chillar
DE Jason Hunter
LB Danny Lansanah
T Breno Giacomini
G Allen Barbre

Vikings
No. 3 QB John David Booty
CB Marcus McCauley
TE Garrett Mills
LB Erin Henderson
LB Dontarrious Thomas
T Marcus Johnson
WR Robert Ferguson
DT Letroy Guion

I think Blackmon and Jennings will have big games.

Grant will have to get 100 yards and a TD to win.

Arod will do ok - not sure why Jared Allen is attempting to play. Maybe it was a ploy. Hope it doesn't work...

I hate the stupid horn btw. Sounds like this, eeerrrrrrriiiiiirrrrrrrrrr - over a first down or a flag. Wow - exciting  .After a TD, do whatever you want.

I see the Packers playing up/down and having to adjust to win this game. I see it with a slight adv to the Packers.

If you blitz MN too much, you run the risk of giving up a 70 yard TD run to Adrian Peterson. I don't favor much blitzing in this game.

Not if your punter has an average of 36 flipping yards and the Vikings are starting out from the Packers 40 yard line. When you're facng a highly potent runningback like Adrian Peterson, and your front defense is suspect against the run...the last thing you want is your punter giving them the ball inside your own territory.
