The overuse of "as well" drives me nuts.
Beginning a sentence with "as well" deserves a bitch slap.

That aint nada, what about the clowns that start every sentence with "umm". Seems to mostly be with the 25 and under age group.

At this moment in time, I personally never use 24/7. I prefer to use 3.428571 instead. I think I am fairly unique in that regard. With all due respect to the listing of irritating phrases, at the end of the day, I am sure we all use many phrases that annoy others. However, it's a nightmare when people use them too frequently. After all, communication skills can be learned. It's not rocket science.

Was this overboard? Absolutely, you say? Maybe I shouldn't of done it.

I agree with that. This country has become so PC and sensitive to everybody's FEELINGS that no one says Christmas anymore. I actually go out of my way to say it ...especially when someone says Happy Holidays! No...it's Christmas moron!

I would add the annoying Minnesota "aye" at the spoken at the end of sentences. Think Fargo!

It really annoys me when someone says Christmas and you know they really wanted to say "holidays" but they did anyway because they didn't want to be labeled as some anti-America satanist or something.

What makes me cringe is when people use ain't (which, I can't stand by itself) coupled in with a double negative.

"I ain't got no money"

Going forward. No dammit, I want my business/project/life to go backwards!

Mission Critical. Oh No! Will the Apollo mission fail? Even though my mission critical for this job is sorting paper clips?

Grow the business/enterprise/economy. How about we want the business or enterprise to expland, and the economy to flourish?

Truthfully/To tell the Truth/To be Brutally Honest. So how goddam long you been lying to me?

Like, I was totally, like....

Non-Christians should wish other people Merry Christmas, it might not be their Holiday but the gesture is appreciated.

Its not like you're going to be carted off to church and converted. Conversely, wishing other people "holidays" to people should also be allowed. Can be awkward if people are to ignorant to understand the difference, I guess.
