Patriots sign two 'ol men

Seau rejoins Patriots after LB Thomas goes on IR

The Pats signed Seau and Rosevelt Colvin. This looks like a ridiculous move, but somehow it will work out for them. I don't know how, but it always seems to.

The late coach George Allen was notorious for seeking out aged veterans for his team. He valued experience. He also had the reputation of trading away future draft choices for other teams' veterans.

Someone once joked that when George Allen was a kid, his Dad brought home a 7 week old puppy. George promptly traded it for two 12 year old cats!
