5 games by 4 point or less..... meaning, a few plays improvement in each of those games would mean we'd be 9-4 or 10-3 very easily right now. We are not as bad as everyone thinks....

Here's the bright spots for next year....

Rodgers will have a whole year under his belt. I know some people expect a lot out of rodgers because this is his fourth year in the league. but im sorry but you can NOT get the experience you need by watching a TV and holding a clipboard on sundays. You only get TRUE GENUINE MEMORY INGRAINED experience by DOING it every sunday. He is a young pup. Now in three years if he's showing signs of inconsistency, then u can talk about brohm or flynn or joe blow replacing him. Remember guys I believe the man just turns 25 this month. He's young!

I believe this year Ted Thompson will realize that the window of opportunity in the NFL is short and that he needs to try to go to the big dance. Look for him to sign a big player in free agency. probably a leader on Defense.

Look for us to have a solid draft. Some more Ready to play NFL'ers like Jennings, Hawk who stepped right in. This last draft was mostly all about potential. I think we need to have another draft of ready made Starters.

Look for a big time pass rusher in the draft, as well as a disruptive DT, FAST LB, another Corner and another total package safety like Nick Collins who is equally as good as the pass as he is the run.

This team is not as bad as we think, but, look for Bob Sanders to be fired after the season. We need a change.... unless when TT, MM, and whoever else look at the film at the end of the year and say to themselves, man, our players just didnt make the plays or were where they were coached to be at, then i think we need to go in a different direction with the D-Coordinator. Something's awry. one or two gameis a fluke, more than 2 is a trend. more than 6 is you just suck ass.

okay im done with my ranting.

This team does all of the little things it can to lose; opposite of last year

Yep, this has just not been the year.

I am getting to the point where I am just about ready for this season to be over. I can't take it anymore. This team finds a way to lose every week, and I am so tired of seeing guys get hurt week after week. It is ridiculous.

Stock and Sanders need to go so that we can bring in a more aggressive defense and a ST that doesn't shoot itself in the foot over and over.

Last year, we had 6 games that were close, back and forth, down to the wire match-ups. We won 'em all.

This year, we've had six, and lost 'em all.

Last season, you got the feeling that we would win 'em in the end, this year, I don't have to tell you the feeling you get at the end of the close ones

I agree, just not our year. Hopefully we'll get a new DC in and have a very good draft.

Didn't the year we went 4-12 have like 8 games decided by 5 points or less and lose each and every one of them? I think it was and that's a lot like this year. No interception here or no personal foul there and maybe we win that game.

I am far from the ledge.

However I am in my living room with an endless supply of bourbon hoping to get blackout drunk so I don't remember any of the games.

Found it on wikipedia. 8 games lost by only 1 score that year. Just imagine a good year like last year where you win the majority of those. Say we had gone 6-2 in close games and all of a sudden the Packers were 10-6 that year.

I'm optimistic that the firing of Bob becomes reality. Am I eligible for the optimistic realists club AND the fire Bob club?

that's another thing i forgot... someone brought up the Special Teams, i think most of it this year have been the rookies and the young guys being pulled in and out of special teams duty but i dont have much confidence in Mike Stock, he's gotta go too.
