Not a bad initial outing for our new punter. Take out the shaky first 25yd punt and you have an average of 41.6 yards per kick. Add to that the one he nailed down at the two and two others within the 20 we might have something here.

Just looking for a little silver lining in all the doom and gloom given the last loss and any potential however remote for the playoffs.

Bio says he was born in West Point, NY so figured he was an Army Brat. Found this nice article and am thinking he's a quality guy like Ryan was. Hope he continues strong through the end of this season and possibly brings light at the end of the punting tunnel for next year.

He seems to have a knack for killing the ball where it lands. He got the ball to die at the 2 yard line, that we remember. But on the one that was a touchback, the ball landed and died 2 yards deep. Had the ball landed at the 1 yard line, it would have stayed there. That was the most impressive thing about his performance yesterday IMO.
