37signals is a software company that seems to do everything just about right. Their book is called 'Getting Real', and it focuses on how to come up with ideas, what makes a good idea, and how to implement it from a business perspective, etc. It's a very interesting read!
This free, quick read is about how to start up a business in todays wired world. While it has some software ties obviously, it applies to just about everything I feel.
It was a very good and easily worth the time it takes.
