In a move that probably should have taken place two months ago, the Packers placed Atari Bigby on the IR list. In a lost season for the Pack, Bigby had one of his own. He tweaked the hammy in the second game and was a shadow of his '07 self. He was a non-factor when he returned, and then dinged his ankle, the injury that landed him on IR.

In other personnel moves, GB signed DT Anthony Toribio to the active roster. Toribio is a 6-foot-1, 304-pound rookie from Carson-Newman, who moves from the Packers’ practice squad, where he's been since since Nov. 13.

Fullback Russ Weil has been signed to the practice squad.Weil is a 6-foot, 258-pound rookie from Illinois, spent time earlier this season on the St. Louis Rams’ practice squad. Hope he can play FB. We need one of them.

Another FB? I am guessing they are not to thrilled with current level of performance either...or they read PR

What a year. Bigby was healthy for about 1.5 games. Jenkins was healthy for 3 games. Barnett was healthy for 8 games. That doesn't even factor in Harris or Hawk or Rouse or any of the numerous other defensive players that have been playing through injuries all year.
