Man...that would be a bummer for Pats fans. Especially if Cassell looks to break the bank with another team. Too bad for Tom. I don't like him, but he's damn good. Hopefully he can get back out there.

I just read that too. The off season sure will be interesting this year for the Pats. Wonder if they'd consider taking Cassell and letting Brady go........you know how BB is.......very business like.....

I would think that would never, ever happen...but I also thought Favre would die a Packer.

I think the rehab will determine whether Cassel gets franchised or not.

If they can't get anything definitive on Brady's rehab by time FA rolls around, I'd franchise him. For the most part, they didn't miss a beat.
