I see no reason for Favre to return now. Why would be come back and attempt to work with yet another coach. It's finally over for #4. His skills look diminished anyhow, but we'll remember the great days.

I believe Mangini is going, but I am not ready to believe Favre is done. Look for a couple weeks of indecision as they hire a West Coast guy.

Mooch? I think that's the only person that may convince him to go another year.

Scuttlebutt out of NY is part of the NY Paperairplanes problem was Mangini was uniformly hated by the players.

Seems he had only learned part of Bill B's prick act and hadn't figured out how to be respected by the boys, only detested.

He'll be on the streets in a few minutes now.

Mangini, Marinelli, Mariuchi?

sounds like roll call at the Catholic school I attended as a little kid in New Jersey.

He is indeed gone.

Speculation on ESPN TV says Favre's worsening relationship with him was a big factor.

I really, really doubt it. IF they thought Mangini could coach, no way would they let him go.

"Shoot, I know I've had confidence in Aaron Rodgers all year," said McCarthy. "To come out and take that shot at that specific time, (after) Detroit drove and scored, I think that says a lot about the play-caller and the quarterback being on the same page."

Ya they certainly didn't have the same homo relationship these two have. Actually Aaron played very well this year but Jesus Christ the team had the worst collapse in team history and this fuckhead(MM) is patting himself on the back he certainly deserves to be fired just as much as Mangini or Jauron.

He had every reason to be confident in Rodgers and Rodgers bore that confidence out. ANd to put McCarthy';s name next to those two stiffs who never even sniffed a conference title game in their respective jobs is BS.

I think M3's comments are pretty dubious considering he's been in similar situations against the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears where he handed off three times deep in his opponent's territory before settling for field goals instead of letting Rodgers throw a pass. I don't think bragging about trusting Rodgers late in a game against an 0-15 team makes up for all the times he didn't trust him against better opponents.
