After having bartended for about a decade's worth of New Year's Eves, the cops are definitely working to fill their quota. (on top of it being dangerous to others)

Having friends over for dinner with the family to bring in the New Year. New Year's Eve at where I bartended was amateur drinking night that lasted till around 5 am. (working till 5 am that is)
