Let's hear 'em folks.

I hereby resolve to break my resolution from 15 years ago and go see my ailing dad in winter.

That's always worth a shot.

I was going to mention in your other thread that you needed to find some Bourbon County Stout to try. This years is very, very good and you should be able to find some considering where it's brewed.

Also go to Discount Liquors near Partials house....amazing selection of beers.

I've got a whole day to think about it, but I'm leaning towards seriously not discussing the Govenor of Alaska anymore.

Anybody know what I should buy? I'll have one by January 15th. Then, maybe, you all can nag me to actually use the thing.

Probably a good idea. Heck, you're going to be a "Mexican" in 2010 anyhow, so you might as well enjoy your last year as an "American".

Real one. Wouldn't know the actor if he slapped me. Wouldn't have known the real one either, but he kept letting everyone around know. Played blackjack with him for about an hour. Maybe it was a bad setting to make a judgement on a guy, but I was pretty unimpressed.

To make RR a fun place again .............instead of JUST political stuff. :(

Not saying those that enjoy political chat shouldn't have their place though.....but GAWD, am I the only one that misses the fun the RR used to bring?

I swear, I'm almost ready to bring on an "I think I'm pregnant" thread just to liven it up! :P

Other things I resolve to do....

Reorganize my entire house. We started Jan. 1st with the basement storage room....made excellent progress. Today I finished off 2 closets after getting all frustrated with the Favre talk (see Pennington thread....lol)

Take a cooking class. OMG, ever since I was off work last year for 6 weeks and discovered the food network I'm thinking I should have gone to Culinary School. :D I've always cooked my Mom's style (nothing wrong with that as she was a great cook) but she wasn't much into spices and seasoning.

Joining a gym - found out I can get a good deal for $25 per month on the buddy system.

That's about it.

I'll revisit in 6 months....lol

Me too. I'm absolutely with you and I promise when you start that thread and find out you're not, I'll be the first one to recommend going to the clinic to go over your best birth control choices... 8-)

It's also why every now and again I'll bump old threads, in hope that these folk will see how it's supposed to be done...lol

I'm jealous of the organization. Though just today I bought a thing to hang on my wall for bills and school papers. I swear, they teach these kids to be little eco-nazis and waste more paper in the process than any company I've ever seen!

She didn't think they were going to dig into every aspect of her and her family's life?
