Pettine is also a computer specialist, who has produced innovative coaching programs that utilize football video to develop playbooks for offense and defense and to analyze game video of opponents.
Named OLBs coach in 2005...Pettine works directly with defensive coordinator Rex Ryan who says: "Mike is my right-hand man. Our backgrounds are very similar. My father is a legendary NFL coach and his father is a legendary football coach, who recently retired as the winningest HS football coach in Pennsylvania history. I know Mike will make a name for himself in this league. He's one of the best communicators I know, and he relates well with the players. He's smart, and he's dedicated."
I really like the Raven style of defense. He has been with the Raven since 2002. He seems to me to be an up and coming DC. He coaches the OLB for the Ravens. I would like the MM and TT to interview him too.
