McCartney was pretty good. Hey Jude had the whole stadium singing.

I guess it should technically be Aerosmith/Brittney Spears/N Sync

the correct answer is Springsteen, obviously, but I voted for Prince because he did a good job and gets no respect around here.

I think Grambling State marching band's best performance was Superbowl IX in New Orleans in 1975, where the theme was "Tribute to Duke Ellington." The Superdome was supposed to be ready for the Steelers-Vikings game, but predictably its construction was delayed and the game had to be played at Tulane's stadium. The most rinky-dink Superbowl ever, but Grambling's marching band redeemed it.

What's with the Springsteen love?

His best album was Greetings from Asbury Park. A distant second was Born to Run. After that was a run of lame songs that are only considered good because a generation of macaroni and cheese eaters project minor god status on the man and his rock and roll muzak.

I find the whole Super Bowl halftime crap tedious, and I was happy to watch a few minutes of Bill Murray's Groundhog Day on another channel while I waited to get back to the game.

I did like U2 back in '02.

I wished he would have played "Rosalita"

Some truth in what you say, early Springsteen is better. But how can you knock "Nebraska", or even his last album? You can't just judge by his radio albums. HE's a great artist toiling in the pop vineyard.

Gran Torino is a great movie! This is a Must-See movie whether or not you like Clint Eastwood.

This is allegedly his last acting performance. He will continue to work as a director.

Quite deservedly.

Up, Up with people--you meet 'em everwhere you go.
Up, Up with people--they're the best kind of folks you know.
If more people were for people, all people everywhere
There'd be a lot less people to worry about and a lot more people who care.
