Sorry, I don't actually have a goddamn clue who they are. I came across it looking for giant cocks to post for Partial's enjoyment.

Tomorrow I'm going to the annual Relay for Life Cancer Auction Benefit

Two years ago I won a new bowling ball
Last year I won the Bad for a framed picture of the Olympic Hockey Team celebrating after defeating Russis with an autograped puck by Marc Johnson
Hopefully there are some goodies tomorrow
Also won a cool framed autographed pic of Favre there

My Packer room has too much Favre stuff; kind of sucks cause they are worth some ching and I don't feel all the good karma in the room I used to.

But I don't think there are many Packers worthy right now of spots. It's Favre, Reggie, and info from the SB winners.

I just walked into the store (looking for something else as always) and they had them there for $399 but were out of stock so they sold me the display for $40 off and extended the warranty for me for free. I did some research on the model after I posted those specs looking for reviews and it seems P is full of it as this model got VERY good reviews and regularly listed for way more than I paid.

Anyone ever ate at Panera Bread? Freaking awesome!

I ate there last night. I would say their food is freaking ok. The french onion soup was good, although I could have eaten five or six of those bowls. The oatmeal cookie was sub-supermarket quality.

They do offer a nice, comfortable place to hang out, sort of a coffee shop with food.

A bit disappointed at the Relay for Life Auction in terms of memoraillia. They had about 4 Brett Favre things...three pics and an autographed book. No stuff for current Packers. They did have one singned Jennings football that went for around $125. We need some stars on this team; my Packer room is already Favre'd out.

I don't understand how Noodle and Co stays in business. My buddies and I were just discussing this last night.

It's really overpriced for what it is, and its pretty average food that one could make at home in 15-20 minutes.

It's a weird place, I mean, you can get speciality asian dishes from like a speciality restaurant (try Singha Thai in milwaukee, its pimp) for cheaper and they taste a million times better!!

Michigan man dodges prison in theft of Wi-Fi
by Steven Musil

A Michigan man who used a coffee shop's unsecured Wi-Fi to check his e-mail from his car could have faced up to five years in prison, according to local TV station WOOD. But it seems few in the village of Sparta, Mich., were aware that using an unsecured Wi-Fi connection without the owner's permission--a practice known as piggybacking--was a felony.

Each day around lunch time, Sam Peterson would drive to the Union Street Cafe, park his car and--without actually entering the coffee shop--check his e-mail and surf the Net. His ritual raised the suspicions of Police Chief Andrew Milanowski, who approached him and asked what he was doing. Peterson, probably not realizing that his actions constituted a crime, freely admitted what he was doing.

"I knew that the Union Street had Wi-Fi. I just went down and checked my e-mail and didn't see a problem with that," Peterson told a WOOD reporter.

Milanowski didn't immediately cite or arrest Peterson, mostly because he wasn't certain a crime had been committed. "I had a feeling a law was being broken," the chief said. Milanowski did some research and found Michigan's "Fraudulent access to computers, computer systems, and computer networks" law, a felony punishable by five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Milanowski, who eventually swore out a warrant for Peterson, doesn't believe Milanowski knew he was breaking the law. "In my opinion, probably not. Most people probably don't."

Indeed, neither did Donna May, the owner of the Union Street Cafe. "I didn't know it was really illegal, either," she told the TV station. "If he would have come in (to the coffee shop), it would have been fine."

But apparently prosecutors were more than aware of the 1979 law, which was revised in 2000 to include protections for Wi-Fi networks.

"This is the first time that we've actually charged it," Kent County Assistant Prosecutor Lynn Hopkins said, adding that "we'd been hoping to dodge this bullet for a while."

However, Peterson won't be going to prison for piggybacking. Because he has no prior record, Peterson will have to pay a $400 fine, do 40 hours of community service and enroll in the county's diversion program.

Yeah because we both had different insurances and switched to this one together after we got married. When they called me a couple weeks ago...I wasn't home so they told my wife to inform her husband that our insurance will be lowering due to my birthday.

We are pretty excited here. Almost 2 months ago my daughter filled out an application for a young woman's political retreat in Washington D.C. this summer for girls in H.S. (she's in 9th). It was a pretty lengthy application plus a couple essays. She also had to get recommendations from teachers at her school. A few weeks ago I called there to find out when we would be hearing something and was told they would be making decisions mid March. I was told they had over 5,000 applications and they only accept 50 girls. After hearing that I told my daughter not to be upset if she doesn't get selected because she's only in 9th and w/ that many applications it would be tough to get in. Well, two of her friends that also applied got their letters they were not accepted.....so either she made some kind of preliminary cut off or we will be hearing good news soon. :D Keeping my fingers crossed we will booking a flight soon!

A durian falling on a person's head can cause serious injuries or death because it is heavy and armed with sharp thorns, and may fall from a significant height, so wearing a hardhat is recommended when collecting the fruit. For this reason the durian is sometimes called the most dangerous fruit in the world, along with its name in Vietnamese, sầu riêng, meaning "private sorrow".

.. its odor is best described as pig-shit, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock. It can be smelled from yards away. Despite its great local popularity, the raw fruit is forbidden from some establishments such as hotels, subways and airports, including public transportation in Southeast Asia

Durian is not recommended for consuming with alcoholic beverages, as the combination of natural substances is a powerful producer of internal gas

This was the first time I ever played a tournament. I'm sure there's a strategy that helps, well, as long as you are also getting decent hands. I was 2nd highest at the table in the first round but only one person moved on....bummer. last week my five year old had the flu and she woke up intensely crying and looking like she was in a horror flick; she had a storm of blood all over her pillow and it was running down her nose. Dad stopped the bleeding after half freaking out a bit; it was all over her hair. Gave her a shower

A week later, I have a nasty cold....bad enough where I was watching 24 on a 19" Bedroom tv while being undercovers. I felt a nasty sneeze coming, let one loose......and there it came...free glowing blood out of the nose for a half hour or so. Sam thing happened to me as the little one. I think we both had sore throats and a cold; but that was about it

after freaking out for a few minutes i calmed down and realised something was in my ear.

i went into the bathroom and stuck my ear under the water. pretty soon the scratching stopped, and a tiny little beatle fell out. i figure he was scratching my ear drum.

then i fought like hell for the next few minutes trying to get the rest of the water out of my ear

So during my daughter's freshman orientation the golf coach approaches her and starts talking to her. She obviously made an impression on her and she decided to join the golf team. .....never touched a golf club in her life other than miniature golf...lol Turns out she has a natural talent for the game. She's played with the varsity team (top 6) in every meet so far as a freshman.

Goes to show you the impact a coach can have. I'm thankful she reached out to her for whatever reason it was.....she loves the game and I think she found her niche.

I have a colleague who worked in Barcelona for 4 years as a graphic designer. He loved it and talks about it all the time. I'll casually bring it up and see what he says.

On other topics, I recently bought some boxer briefs to wear when I do weight lifting. I really like them for this purpose, and for lounging around the house without pants on. They're not as good under jeans or slacks as boxers, though. However, I find that I can comfortably squat past parallel now!

How much extra weight are you carrying on your knees right now? How many people have you known who've had knee replacements? Now there's some fun. Dropping past parallel forces your knee tendons to bear some of the weight in bringing you back up. But don't bother responding. I know you don't listen to anyone so I'm not going to argue. But here's a tip that I learned along the way. When the doc tells you you have to be able to lift your leg, you have to re-remember to flex the quads or you won't be able to do it and you'll have to stay in the hospital an extra day. Enjoy the surgery and rehab.

There are two schools of thought. I've seen a lot of information on both. Their are significant studies that going to parallel and coming up is actually worse because all the stress is on the knee. Going past parallel shifts a lot of the force onto the hips.

One could make a really compelling argument that its worse to squat just above parallel, then it is to squat below. Go to a gym, and most people don't come anywhere near parallel. Those are the guys destroying their knees, not the olympic lifters who are sticklers about form.

Ty looks for things that are special to that person.

For example, one year i bought my moms an orchid..which is definitely a really cool flower..and that doesn't die. Which lead to her and my dad getting into orchids.

Spa gifts are nice...specially for the older gen..they often have never went and won't spend money on themselves.

Usually i shop at places that specialize in interesting, unique gifts..that are really just god's way of saying you have too much money and stuff.

Baseball bats should NOT cost $300!!! Geeez!! :?

Why not?

Because that's a lot of money for a bat that will only be used for 1 or maybe 2 years. Baseball has to be one of the more expensive sports for kids to play.

During the years the kids are growing out of stuff every year......cleats, glove, bat, batting gloves, big bag to carry all the gear, helmet (son has his own "lucky" one), etc. More expensive than football or soccer.

That is one heck of a lot of stuff. I had two gloves during 9 years of baseball, and maybe 4ish pairs of pants, and probably a few pairs of cleats, but we always bought those used.

No need for the rest of the stuff imo. Doesn't the team provide a few bats and helmets?

Team provides the game pants w/ the uniform. You can purchase used practice pants cheap. 7th year playing Little League.....feet grow a lot during those years. (I kept his first football and baseball cleats....kinda like the first pair of baby shoes....lol) The team does not provide bats. They do provide helmets but one was purchased for practice in the batting cages. Believe me, there has not been a lot of unnecessary spending.....but still a lot of spending.

Oh, and forgot to mention the cup and sliding pants. Unfortunately he opted for the thinner sliding pants and now has a huge strawberry burn....at this age he's still a lil too shy to have mom apply some cream to his upper leg/ass....lol

Why only 1 to 2 years? And, that is really no basis for talking about cost.

You can always resell the bat.

According to Ty, why not use a wood bat?

300.00 bucks for a bat, I wouldn't spend it on a little leaguer. Until your kid gets into -3 or less league I wouldn't spend that kind of money for the reasons you are stating. Kids out grow the bat, and you don't want to get a bat that is too big because it will screw up their swing.

I understand that some leagues and teams require a player to buy their own bat. If so I think for a little league you can get away with a middle of the road Easton Rebel, or a Demarini. I would look on ebay for used bats as well. The internet also has some nice clearance bats but be careful of the shipping and handling cost.

Also the only difference from a bat production from year to year is the paint scheme. Usually if they are going to make a modication to a bat in a certain price range they will rename the bat. So if you find a bat that fits your child before you buy it, look online for the same bat but one that was made the year or two prior. Also go take your kid to a sporting goods store that has demo bats. He or she should be able to hit with the bat simply because it is the best way to tell if the bat works for the user.

New development and now I need to find a way to sell a barely used bat. ugh! (ebay? never sold anything there)

He's in 7th grade but apparently next year eligible to try out for Freshman team a year ahead of schedule....no guarantees but coach said he's strong enough and should be using a -3 now. Suggested site was Baseball Express (online). Ordered a -3 clearance bad and got it for $239. Louisville 2009 TPX Exogrid ....regularly priced at $369. It's in the mail now. Did you ask around the dugout if any other kid on the team was looking for a bat? Craigslist to sell it, try Ebay if Cragslist doesn't work offer to ship it.

I don't know what to tell ya about the -3, sounds like you got a good deal, but what did you pay in shipping cost?

These bat companies are getting pretty ridiculous. I was really happy to see that the city of New York went away from all the technology a couple of yeas ago and went to wood bats. Sure Wood breaks, but I can buy a whole mess load of bats for 300 bucks, I could buy 10 ash bats, or 6 nice maple bats. Plus the schools themselves are kicking in to buy team bats.

It was only $8 something for shipping.

I was a little worried moving up to a -3 now but according to coach, this is a good time for them to get used to it. They moved from major to junior league this year so they moved to the bigger field. The mound is further out so the pitches aren't coming in as fast as they did last year....and therefore a good time to get used to the -3. I don't know....guess it makes sense.

You saw the Wailers?

Sheriff: prolly cos he wanted to hear them play the song...you know, the song clapton covered.

(I shot the sheriff
But I didnt shoot no deputy, oh no! oh!
I shot the sheriff
But I didnt shoot no deputy, ooh, ooh, oo-ooh.)
Yeah! all around in my home town,
Theyre tryin to track me down;
They say they want to bring me in guilty
For the killing of a deputy,
For the life of a deputy.
But I say:

Oh, now, now. oh!
(I shot the sheriff.) - the sheriff.
(but I swear it was in selfdefence.)
Oh, no! (ooh, ooh, oo-oh) yeah!
I say: I shot the sheriff - oh, lord! -
(and they say it is a capital offence.)
Yeah! (ooh, ooh, oo-oh) yeah!

Sheriff john brown always hated me,
For what, I dont know:
Every time I plant a seed,
He said kill it before it grow -
He said kill them before they grow.
And so:

Read it in the news:
(I shot the sheriff.) oh, lord!
(but I swear it was in self-defence.)
Where was the deputy? (oo-oo-oh)
I say: I shot the sheriff,
But I swear it was in selfdefence. (oo-oh) yeah!

Freedom came my way one day
And I started out of town, yeah!
All of a sudden I saw sheriff john brown
Aiming to shoot me down,
So I shot - I shot - I shot him down and I say:
If I am guilty I will pay.

(I shot the sheriff,)
But I say (but I didnt shoot no deputy),
I didnt shoot no deputy (oh, no-oh), oh no!
(I shot the sheriff.) i did!
But I didnt shoot no deputy. oh! (oo-oo-ooh)

Reflexes had got the better of me
And what is to be must be:
Every day the bucket a-go a well,
One day the bottom a-go drop out,
One day the bottom a-go drop out.
I say:

I - I - I - I shot the sheriff.
Lord, I didnt shot the deputy. yeah!
I - I (shot the sheriff) -
But I didnt shoot no deputy, yeah! no, yeah!

Bob Marley's band with the original wailors was just organsmically good. They were really only together for a couple years, I think. When Peter Tosh left, and Marley started touring with the big production in mid 1970's, it was still good, but not the same funkiness.

very unhappy today; Bretsky does not like negative people. The glass must be half full in my happy world

Bretsky does not agree with decision makers and it sucks when the hands are tied

I imagine this economy is especially hard on glass half full people.

Yes it is

And the mortgage industry's new programs are meant to help those that are trying like heck to stay above water

Meant to

seems the package might work for you; being behind on your mortgage can sometimes get a loan modification at a lower rate

Ty doesn't have a mortage. Ty moved to scottsdale from Florida at the height of the market. Ty's friends all chided him for not buying a home.

Ty said no way. Market way overinflated..4 bed, 2 bath, 1700 sq. ft. starter homes in worst parts of sdale were going for 325K...2 years earlier at 175K. Condo conversions of college apartments...250K for 800 sq. ft.

But, Ty..."home ownership is the best value." Ty's acquatainces apparently never heard of NYC. LOL

Have you ever met anyone from those online dating things? I think I'd be too chicken....paranoid to meet someone that way.

I've met a few decent guys. Dated one for a couple months. Just last night I went out with a shy Mennonite who went to the U of W. Big Badger fan. These are people you are just not going to meet in other circumstances so you just have to look at it as a fun way to meet new friends, and if a spark ignites, so be it.
