For what is is worth I have been polling some mock draft sites and wanted to share the results. I looked at 60+ and will give the top 10 choices at #9.

1- CB Malcomb Jenkins 13

1- NT BJ Raji 13

2- DE/OLB Brian Orakpo 10

3- DE/OLB Everette Brown 5

4- OLB Aaron Maybin 4

5- LB Aaron Curry 3

6- RB Knowshon Moreno 2

7- DE Tyson Jackson 2

8- Greg Hardy 1

9- CB Alphonso Smith 1

10-OT Jason Smith

I'd be okay with Raji, Jenkins, Curry, or Jason Smith. Tyson Jackson would fit our new scheme, but I'm not sure he's projected to go so high.

theres still about a dozen guys that i wouldn't mind us getting

however 2 years ago there where about 20 guys i would have liked us to get. none of which were named justin harrell

so i'm not holding my breath

If Curry magically fell to us I'd be ecstatic.

I'm basically fine with any player that isn't named Jenkins. I'm iffy on Everette Brown.

My top 3, in no particular order, would be Raji, Orakpo, and Jason Smith.

Curry seems like too much of a Tampa 2 type LB... Derrick Brooks type. Better in a 4-3 IMO. We already have enough miscast guys on that side of the ball.

They're talking a good show about switching, but I'm not buying it until I see some actual 3-4 personnel brought in.

Raji or Orakpo are okay with me at this point... haven't scouting too many other guys yet.

Would anyone be surprised to see TT take a running back at 9?

I'd like it to be Jason Smith I think. He might fall and it seems like a steal.

its weird cuz there is not one guy that i have a hard on for in this draft... it seems to just be a bunch of OK players

Not if there was one worth taking, but I don't know that there will be. Maybe Moreno, if he wows them at the combine/pro day.

Am I correct that Grant's roster bonus is due prior to the draft? If they give Grant his money, which they probably will, then they probably just go with him and pick elsewhere.

I'm of the opinion that Grant is good, but not special. I wouldn't mind an upgrade. May not happen this year though.

Wow, did you lose a bet?

I appreciate your thoroughness. I enjoy the occasional mock draft, but I don't have the patience for that.

whats your thoughts on Everette Brown?

whats your thoughts on Everette Brown?

Indifferent. I know Kampman will be one OLB. If the Packers pass on an OLB at #9, then they probably feel they have somebody on the roster who can play that other spot--whether that's Poppinga, Chillar, Hunter, or Thompson. I'm not enough of an expert to judge whether they do or not. If they take a guy like Brown, then that tells me they feel they don't have that player. If we were still playing the 4-3, I'd say no on Brown.

That's not necessarily a bad thing.

I'd love to get Raji...but if it was a player like Crabtree..that would be great, too. Donald Driver's career is winding down...and Jennings, Crabtree, Jones, and Nelson doesn't sound bad at all in several years. Ruvell Martin could hang around, too.

the problem with having all those WR's is theres only one ball... and since theres only one ball, our QB needs to learn to read the whole field and not just go to one WR all the time..

Finley would probably have had 30 catches if he'd actually catch the damn ball. I hope he learns to catch this offseason.......cuz he could be a hell of a football player for us.

Cotchery and Coles aren't bad. Keller is a heck of a receiving TE. Washington is one of the best third down RBs in the league. Jones is a good pass catcher out of the backfield. The Jets have solid talent at the skill positions.

I thnk the problems are with coles and cotchery.. Neither are a number one even though hey think they are.. Itd be great if they'd get a stud out wide for home cuzhe could still be great..
