How is chrome? Safari 4 is fricking fast, much faster than FF3.

I like Chrome and use it all the time now. It gives more screen room and doesn't have all that crap at the top of the browser that you don't use anyways. I also think it's fast. The one thing it needs to improve is how things download and open up, such as a PDF or Word doc.

All the Windows users in my house are now using Chrome. Its nice and has some cool features such as running a new process for every tab so if a page locks up it only affects that tab. Its also blazing fast put of course has a gigantic memory footprint. Much bigger than firefox. I haven't used it much but I know the Windows guys love it.

Also, yeah, thats the downside to the independent process for each tab. Huge memory usage. But, when you can get 4gb for 30 bucks on Slickdeals, does it really matter anymore? Not really.

Chrome has multi-threaded javascript, which is going to be HUGE going forward for rich internet apps.
