Bates resurfaces

According to JSO, (no link from me!) Bates is the Bucaneers new defensive co-ordinator, and Robert Nunn is the DL coach. On top of that, Cole is talking to them!

I liked the energy Bates brought here.

But his system seemed to get stale. Or maybe it just needed him. All I can say is if we play Tampa, MM better kick that defense's ass, after his comments about how he felt other teams had an easy time scheming against his 4-3.
