Jim Leonhard was to be a lock for the Jets, but has now left and will visit Philly in the coming days.

Though he is not starting material, he has proven to be a playmaker when given the opportunity. He actually may fit in with TT's predominantly 2nd-tier approach in FA.

I'd be surprised to see him a Packer. Not sure exactly why but it has something to do with him being 5 feet tall.

Again, I really would like us to try to pick up Sean Jones. I really think he is a good player. I'm not sure how much he would cost, but.....

Leonhard seems like one of those cool try-hard big engine little guys that every team needs. But I don't know if GB needs him. I really don't.

With him and Collins we would basically be set at safety for the next 5-6 years. I would be very happy if we try to get him.

Sean Jones would be a great fit. You could play him up and collins back. If Bigby is well, I wouldn't do it. bit if he's still not fully recovered from ankle surgery... This would be a dicey situation.

I'd still sign Jones, he's a big strong safety. A little slow. Chad and TJ used to burn those guys down.

I didnt know anything about this guy except the homer shit before the draft but when I saw him in some Ravens games I was impressed. He is a guy who will have a 10 year NFL career that no one expected. Hard to not root for him. I wish him the best of luck.

Jets signed him.

Any idea in terms? I like Leonhard, but I was leery about him getting overpaid. The Ravens defense is so good from top to bottom, it probably makes everybody better than would be if you picked them up and put them in a different situation (Adalius Thomas anybody?)

I think we need where-are-they-now Sean Jones update. Last time I heard, he got arrested for some bad business dealings. well, never mind, bad karma.

Jim Leonhard's three-year deal with the Jets is worth $6 million and includes a $1 million signing bonus.
Leonhard is expected to start, but this is third safety money. Still, if Leonhard's smallish build doesn't hold up in 2009, the Jets could put him in a backup/special teams role and not be overpaying. Good deal for New York.
