What is the unemployment rate where you live?

Here in Oregon, the state unemployment rate is 9.9%.

In the Portland Metro Area, unemployment is 9.1%. A surprising number of young adults are moving to the Portland area from the East and Midwest thinking there are more employment opportunities here.

4.6%

I think I read that Iowa has between 6 and 10th lowest unemployment rate in the country.

With a new IMB branch opening in Iowa this summer that will help too.

I was reading that the WI rate is 7.6% and the three worst cities are:

Green Bay 10.3%
Racine 13.5%
Beloit 15.1%

There are over 10 cities with double digit figures.

But that's May numbers and with summer seasonal work it's gone down I'm sure.

Haven't seen the new stats of today. Last month had Oregon at 12.4%--second only to Michigan.
