With Maurice Jones-Drew or Drew-Jones and others complaining that football has gone soft, this story is a nice counterpoint - does anybody want anything quite this tough?

While this may be factually true - its not perceptible truth.

Kinda like realcheese being from happy cows in California.

Um, one play's football with one's feet. No hands allowed, except for the 'keeper.

This is not only perceptively true, it is, indeed, reality.

Gridiron, as it is commonly referred to in Oz-tralia, is a game play by carrying - running or throwing/catching/carrying - running. Rarely, one player will actually use a foot for a split second at a time.

Kinda like real Budweiser being a city in the Czek Republic where real beer is brewed...

All I'm really saying is that growing up calling what "we" consider football by the name "football" and calling the other game Soccer - It just doesn't seem right to switch it up now.

Where the hell did the word soccer come from anyway?

What if a rugby match were played between two teams, one of which was wearing black and yellow bumblebee socks as part of it's uniform, and they are playing the match on astroturf (dumb, would never happen, but for arguments sake we'll pretend). Does this count?

Gun, you're talking about a team called "Hawthorn", but, they don't play Rugby- they play Aussie Rules Football. Yes, that game is full of kicks.

No astro turf, though.

Snake would argue that "real" beer is brewed in Germany. I'd drink that milkshake. Yet, Snake drinks lots of worldly beers, just can't think of one Czech beer...but would love to drink it. Tarlam are you offering?
