In addition to most of the Giants’ schedule, some details have emerged as to the Bears’ slate of games.

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears begin the Soldier Field portion of the schedule against the Steelers in Week Two. (Four years ago, a December game between the Bears and Steelers in Pittsburgh launched the Steelers’ Super Bowl run.)

The Bears also are scheduled to play the 49ers in San Fran on a Thursday night NFLN contest, and the Bears will host the Vikings on Monday Night Football.

The Bears likewise have two additional NBC Sunday night games in addition to Week One at Green Bay: Chicago will host Philly and travel to Atlanta. It’s unknown, however, whether these games fall within the “flex” portion of the NBC prime-time schedule.

The NFL is something. Making a damn event out of everything. Where's the "Schedule Release " logo for 2009? They do know how to make money however and who am I to knock capitalism?

Next year they will try releasing the divisional portion of the schedules one division at a time, just to see how long they can keep the hype going. The following year they will release one game a day to prove just how annoying they can be.
