rumor has it that the Bears were going to take the second round safety two picks later, and then traded out of the pick when Oakland took him.

Cleft Crusty has been lobbying for an intervention at Raiders HQ for years. Friends don't let friends draft drunk.

There are no friends there. The Raider organization is full of bootlicking yes men. Anyone that has a different opinion than Al Davis is fired.

He runs the place worse than Saddam Husein or Vito Corleone.

He will not let fans see training camp. He has tarps all around the field and no public access except one day called media day. Otherwise security guards chase you off if you get near the fence or even dare look through a crack between tarps. Complete opposite of camp in Green Bay.

It's because they've been working on a secret play these last 10 years that's going to revolutionize the game - no one will be able to defend it. It will be called...the 'flea flicker' and...aw, forget it.

Al's probably a consipacy theorist - but there sure are a lot of 'Raider Rules' in the book.

Yes..Snake takes secret pleasure in seeing Al draft senile and all his associates do it drunk (the only way to do it if you are willing to be employed by that has-been Nazi)...

Yet, someone said the Bears did well (not so much....their first pick in the 3rd was OK...but a buncha reaches).

Overall..the Raiders suck, but it's fun to see them suck so bad at drafting (the best quote was from the SS in round 2 who said..paraphasing, "Fuck Mel Kiper, my 9 year old nephew could make a guess at who is good in the draft.")

But damn, is it good to see the Cowboys suck it up....trade out the 2nd to get 12 picks (3rd-7th) and take all reaches and projects. Good stuff.

Glad we got maybe 3-4 starters at NEEDS and good values. Snake's faith in BTT is renewed. Sucks to have an owner as a GM is all. Look at Oakland/Dallas.
