Maybe so, but he also looks at his hair in the mirror every morning and still goes out in public.

But seriously I had heard of the day one applause he gave but had not heard the 2 day grade. Only time will tell the true story.

Paper Champs!!

Seriously though, when you draft Raji, how can you not be ecstatic. Reminds me of the Vikes taking Peterson. Everyone knew it was right. This move changes the Packers for a long time.

I'm afraid this is the kiss of death, since these "day after" grades are notoriously, well, wrong.

I think it was a good draft, but I wonder if it was really necessary to move up. The Patriots only had to move down 15 spots and got the Packers 2nd and both 3rd round picks. Had TT stayed in the 2nd round both Connor Barwin and Clint Sintim were still there, so I hope Clay was worth it. Most experts said the best value in this draft were in the 2nd-3rd rounds.

Per Mel the Hair Insider,
Green Bay Packers: GRADE: A
I love what this team did to solidify its shaky defense in the first two picks alone, with the selection of two excellent players in defensive tackle B.J. Raji and outside linebacker Clay Matthews. Tackle T.J. Lang was a good pickup for the offensive line, while Quinn Johnson could be a bruising lead fullback in the league. Sixth-round pick Brandon Underwood could make this team and give the Packers depth as a backup.

Hey Baddest, i know this thread is supposed to be about the packers draft, but i think ur bears did a hell of a job in day 2... being down here in dallas, i can tell ya that all the dallas sports hosts were upset b/c everytime the cowbitches were about to draft the bears would take the player they were targeting... although nothing makes me happier than when ur team does shitty, i gotta laugh when ya'll bitch-slapped the cowbitches... HAHA

If we get two starters in Matthews and Meredith in the next 2 years then yes it was worth it. Give up 3 picks and get 2 quality starters? I would take that any day.

The grades for the Packers are dependent on the how they saw Clay Matthews. Those who saw him as a top 15 pick grade the Packers high. Hopefully in a few years we will all think this was an A draft.

Snake hasn't seen a draft grade from about 100 sites to list them less than a B. Mostly A's...Most saying top 3 drafting. Todd McShay, Kipe's protege was going on and on today about the Pack having the best draft (got needs and value) in the NFC North for what it's worth. But Snake would rather see what the Rat's say. Seems we (and damn Snake is ecstatic) are pretty happy we addressed so many needs and really, really upgraded that D (after such a non-existent trade/FA offseason as usual). BTT shocked it up and really delivered big time. Great starting D on paper at least.....
