He will be making a total of $900,000 this year. Good deal for the Packers!

He's worth more than the $460k tender. I hope they bumped him up a little from there.

I still believe he's on the cusp of getting an extension and a raise.

Needs to have another solid year as a nickel and/or fill-in starter. Promising player.

I still believe he's on the cusp of getting an extension and a raise.Lot's of things could break if they can get Jennings signed.

I still believe he's on the cusp of getting an extension and a raise.

If he has another big season, he'll get a big deal next offseason. He's for real.

According to The National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/2009/05/tramon-williams-contract-details/)

The National Football Post has learned that Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams has signed a one-year deal worth a good bit more than the $460,000 Williams was due as an exclusive rights free agent. Williams will receive a salary of $525,000 and a signing bonus of $375,000 for a one-year compensation total of $900,000.

I really would have thought it would have took more than that, still... totally fair and it's good to have him in camp.

Edit: I'm apparently very late with this news.

For some reason I thought he just signed his tender offer, or whatever they call it. I didn't realize he got a raise. Even though it was small, it's nice to see the Packers throw him a bone.

OK, as I promised I owe TWill an apology. NO WAY IN HELL I expected him to sign for that. Its more than fair to the team. I actually advocated offering him a cool million and if he didn't sign it telling him to pound sand. He signed for less and if he puts in a good start to this season we will extend him nicely around week 9. He has earned it.

Good deal for both parties. I'm rooting for this kid, I love his approach to the game.

When you look up "Packer People" in M3's dictionary you see Tramon's picture. :D

Who's picture do you see when you look up "pad level" I wonder? :P

Good deal for the Pack, but if Travon plays well this year, I'd be more than happy to see Big Time Teddy breaking bank with a nice 5 year deal for $5 mill per after this season if he's stepping in for Al at CB which is bound to happen at some point in the near future.

Dude plays the part, and acts the part of Packer People and hope we can lock him up long term as UFA is creeping up in the next year or 2 for Travon. Top CB's now command $11-$15 million if you factor in the Raider Principle for overpaying and creating a false top-end market for top CB's, but even if he's deece....with his ability, speed, youth, playmaking, he's likely a $9 mill guy on the open market in a year or 2. Someone will pay him as such. Let's hope TT locks him up soon, if he keeps it up.
