A nurse from Dallas won this. I read it on PG this morning:
http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/article/20090614/PKR01/306150060/1058

Attendance was down almost 1,000 people and the weather was perfect yesterday! Man, this thing would always sell-out almost immediately. This year, you virtually heard nothing about it. I wonder why it's not being promoted as it was when Favre ran it? It used to be all over the news, people talked about it, etc. Now, this year...I saw the article this morning online and said "oh yeah, the softball game was yesterday."

No kidding. I would of went if I had heard about it. I am always looking for an excuse to go to the GB area this time of year.

Gee, I can't think of a reason where a Donald Driver softball game would be any less popular than a Brett Favre softball game...

If this nurse who won the spot on the team went a lame 1-5 or something, I'm starting a thread to bitch about that person!

It might've been a clever money maker. Maybe the nurse figured out the market value for the autographs of the players...and figured out that he/she (I still don't know if it was a male or female nurse) could sell them for over $2500 or so.

And, suddenly Fritz veered into Partialand.
